The strongest movement in brows right now is not a shape at all - it is realism. Strokes that follow genuine hair growth patterns, densities that vary the way real brows do, colour matched to the hair rather than the fashion. This is less a trend than the craft maturing, and it is entirely worth trusting because its whole point is to age invisibly.
NANO BROWS
Nano brows use a single fine machine needle to draw hair strokes - the machine sibling of microblading. The stroke is slightly softer, the skin trauma lower, and the result suits more skin types, including skin that microblading would blur on. Of everything carrying a trend label this year, nano is the one with real staying power.
LAMINATION AND THE BRUSHED-UP LOOK
Brow lamination is not permanent makeup - it restyles your existing hairs for around six to eight weeks. As a trend it is easy to love: low commitment, dramatic effect, and it pairs beautifully over healed permanent work. The caution is simply not to over-process fine hairs with back-to-back treatments.
WHAT I WOULD NOT TATTOO
Any strongly geometric, blocky or exaggerated shape - however striking on social media - is a poor candidate for pigment that lives in your skin for years. Fashion shapes belong in makeup, which washes off.
